We’ll shift the focus to the Black lifestyle experience, feature change agents that inspire social movements, influencers, curate music, fashion and turn the spotlight on celebrities. With anchor Laila Muhammad, Café Mocha hosts Loni Love, YoYo and Angelique Perrin collectively they deliver content ‘from a woman’s perspective’!
Laila Muhammad has nearly two decades of experience delivering news and entertainment to audiences as a host of syndicated shows in Dallas, a TV correspondent and radio news anchor in Los Angeles, and a news anchor for television stations in Virginia and North Carolina. She’s traveled the world covering press junkets and movie premieres to interview some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. She received her master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University and bachelor’s degree in communication and history from Salem College.
